Basicly you should run to the other side of the hut whenever he's casting a spell. This way you avoid line of sight, and ofcourse, mobs can't shoot through obstacles like the hut. I've just managed to solo him in LFR as a 431 ret paladin, and the biggest reason it was even possible was Beacon to the Beyond trinket (LFR with 8/8 upgrade, ilvl 424) which crit for ~935K.
