Just plug in and click adopt in the Unifi app. Sure there are better cameras and you can use open source software to run your NVR. Therefore in your case, a set transmit power of 16dBm and an effective EIRP of 20dBm means that your antenna gain is about 4dBm.Ubiquiti doesn't make any APs with an internal directional antenna. They have a single model that accepts external antennas, the UAP-AC-M. There is a single "official" directional antenna for it, that IIRC is 120 degress for 2.4GHz and 90 degrees for 5GHz. Depends on what's important to you. UniFi switches go up in price quickly. It might be cheaper to buy a bunch of the 8 Port 1/2 poe switches. That Switch Lite PoE is your best bet for 5 PoE ports.Seems like there's something to the LR design. LR has 4x4 2.4ghz and pro has 2x2 on 2.4Ghz (which is the signal you most likely use when you are further from the AP. Wait for 30 seconds. While holding the reset button on the powered off AP. Apply power to the AP while still holding the rest button until the AP starts blinking.
